I used to attend races when I was a teenager At Whynot Raceway in Whynot Miss located on the Ms/Al state line near Meridian.It was a great dirt track and is still there but not in use. I believe Clyde Rutledge owned the track at that time but was later sold to Babbs Davis of Meridian. Some of the drivers I remember Racing there were- Travis Grant, Tommy Noblin, Johnny Barr, Ted Ballard, Jerry Inmon, Billy Hassele, Ronnie Dedwylder, Mike Johnson, Mike Boland and many other greats.
